FRESCAMAR – AVRAMAR – Estuche Premium
Design for the aquaculture multinational, the largest premium fish producer in the Mediterranean.
This project was ordered by the company Frescamar Alimentación S.L. for a special marketing campaign: The promotion of their star product, the Sea Bass REX. They were accompanied by the perfect ambassador, the chef Ángel León, holder of three Michelin stars.
This fish has a quality label in its gill. This identifier guarantees freshness, as there are never more than 48 hours between its capture and sale. This point was the true challenge of the project. The packaging not only needed a premium presence, it also had to hold a fish that weighs two and a half kilos at a fresh and constant temperature during shipping to the kitchens of prestigious national and European chefs.
Structural Design. The structural design of this premium case was resolved in two parts. The interior had to be consistent, suitable for contact with food, with no sharp edges and, at the same time, waterproof to keep the product fresh and protected together with the added refrigeration elements. It also had to have an attractive and gourmet appearance.
The exterior is a hard case that is lined and has great volume with a fabric pull to open and ties, made of this same fabric, that allow the lid to stand open for an even more special presentation, showing the presentation text and creating a more spectacular experience for the consumer. Resistant paper with a satin finish was used, beautifying the overall result, and allowing the use of selective UVI varnish finishes Among others, gold inks were used to create the premium appearance the project required.
Thanks to the team’s experience, we chose the optimum materials for conservation and transport of the fish, resulting in a successful project.
Production Management. We managed the production of the packaging, generating the technical sheets for the project and maintaining direct communication with the factory to collaborate and allow the customer to obtain the result expected for both structural design and graphics.
