MASTRO FOCATTO S.L. – Sleeve BOX

This project originates in Granada. The client is passionate about Italian products and gastronomy, and they are particularly big fans of focaccia. This is evident in every bite of their product, which is the result of an artisanal process where the quality and Italian origin of the ingredients guarantee an authentic flavour.

Structural Design. For this product, we had to take two things into account: the weight of the product and the ease of use when consuming it. These focaccias are cram-packed with ingredients, so their weight and size would dictate the possible solution. We proposed a lightweight yet sturdy packaging solution with a sliding base and sleeve structure that would make it easy to handle both in the kitchen and for delivery. When the sliding base is fully removed from its protective sleeve, it acts as a placemat, providing the user with a sufficient surface to eat their focaccia anywhere.

We adapted the client’s graphics to the die-cut lines of the designed packaging, keeping in mind how to improve the user experience and surprise them with small details that make all the difference.

Production management. On this project, we provided management services for the initial production run. We handled the search for a supplier who could provide the best service and deliver the required results. We prepared the final artwork and necessary technical specifications, staying in constant contact with the manufacturer to achieve the finish expected by the client.
